# Applied Epic API

> Insurance agency management and CRM

The **Applied Epic API** integration lets your agents access and manage data in Applied Epic for insurance agency operations.

## Prerequisites

* An **Applied Epic account** - [Applied Systems](https://www.appliedsystems.com)
* A **Vatel AI organization** and at least **one agent**

## Configuration

1. In **Vatel AI → Settings → Direct Integrations**, click **Add Integration**.
2. Select **Applied Epic API** and enter your API credentials.
3. Click **Save**.

Once connected, you can add the integration as a function node in your agent's conversation flow or logic flows.
