# Clerk

> User authentication and management for your app

The **Clerk** integration provides user authentication and management for your AI agents and applications.

## Prerequisites

* A **Clerk account** - [Create an account](https://clerk.com)
* A **Vatel AI organization** and at least **one agent**

## Configuration

1. In **Vatel AI → Settings → Direct Integrations**, click **Add Integration**.
2. Select **Clerk** and enter your API credentials.
3. Click **Save**.

Once connected, you can use Clerk in your agent's conversation flow or logic flows for user authentication and management.
