# Mailchimp API

> Email marketing and audiences

The **Mailchimp API** integration lets your agents manage email campaigns, audiences, and contacts in Mailchimp.

## Prerequisites

* A **Mailchimp account** - [Sign up](https://mailchimp.com)
* A **Vatel AI organization** and at least **one agent**

## Configuration

1. In **Vatel AI → Settings → Direct Integrations**, click **Add Integration**.
2. Select **Mailchimp API** and enter your API key.
3. Click **Save**.

Once connected, you can add the integration as a function node in your agent's conversation flow or logic flows to add contacts to audiences and manage campaigns.
