# Slack API

> Slack messaging and notifications for your agents

The **Slack API** integration lets your agents send messages, create channels, and interact with Slack workspaces.

## Prerequisites

* A **Slack workspace** - [Create one](https://slack.com/create)
* A **Vatel AI organization** and at least **one agent**

## Configuration

1. In **Vatel AI → Settings → Direct Integrations**, click **Add Integration**.
2. Select **Slack API** and complete the OAuth connection.
3. Click **Save**.

Once connected, you can add the integration as a function node in your agent's conversation flow or logic flows to send Slack messages and notifications.
