# WhatsApp Cloud API

> WhatsApp messaging for your agents

The **WhatsApp Cloud API** integration lets your agents send and receive WhatsApp messages for customer communication.

## Prerequisites

* A **Meta Business account** and WhatsApp Business API access - [Get started](https://developers.facebook.com/docs/whatsapp/cloud-api)
* A **Vatel AI organization** and at least **one agent**

## Configuration

1. In **Vatel AI → Settings → Direct Integrations**, click **Add Integration**.
2. Select **WhatsApp Cloud API** and complete the connection with your Meta app credentials.
3. Click **Save**.

Once connected, you can add the integration as a function node in your agent's conversation flow or logic flows to send WhatsApp messages.
