# Xero Accounting API

> Accounting and bookkeeping for your agents

The **Xero Accounting API** integration lets your agents access accounting data from Xero for invoices, contacts, and financial records.

## Prerequisites

* A **Xero account** - [Sign up](https://www.xero.com)
* A **Vatel AI organization** and at least **one agent**

## Configuration

1. In **Vatel AI → Settings → Direct Integrations**, click **Add Integration**.
2. Select **Xero Accounting API** and complete the OAuth connection.
3. Click **Save**.

Once connected, you can add the integration as a function node in your agent's conversation flow or logic flows.
